FEES & INSURANCE

​FEES FOR SERVICES

  • Therapy and consultation services for individuals and couples is $200 per 50-min therapy hour for MELISSA and $150 per 50-min therapy hour for JASON

    • Therapy/Counseling/Consultation 

      • Individual or Couple:

        • 50 minute session – $200 for Melissa & $150 for Jason 

        • 60 minute session – $240 for Melissa & $180 for Jason 

        • 90 minute session – $360 for Melissa & $270 for Jason 

      • Group:

        • 60 minute session – $70 per group

  • Couples Coaching/Consultation with both Melissa and Jason -- $350 per 50-min hour​​

  • Reduced fee/discounted spots are available – reach out to discuss 

  • We also offer a "Pay it Forward" fee for clients who wish to pay more than the $200 fee in effort to offset costs to cover reduced fee clients who cannot afford therapy-- this rate is determined by the client and a suggested range is between $200-$300 per therapy hour.

INSURANCE

  • Couple's work, coaching and consultation services are not covered by health insurances.  

  • Therapy services are considered an Out-Of-Network (OON) provider service with most insurance companies. Although you will pay the fee at the time of service, you can be provided with a billing statement for services rendered so you may file an OON provider claim to obtain reimbursement.  

  • Many insurance plans provide between 50%-80% reimbursement on OON therapy services. We are not aware of how much you will be reimbursed by your insurance carrier.  If you wish to pursue this option, let us know and we recommend contacting your insurance provider and asking the following questions to determine your benefits:

    • Does my health insurance plan include mental health (psychotherapy) benefits?

    • Do I have Out-Of-Network mental health benefits? 

    • Is any pre-approval required before obtaining Out-Of-Network mental health services?

    • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

    • If I have out-of-network mental health benefits, will I be reimbursed the full amount I paid or a portion (and how much)?

    • Does my Out-Of-Network plan limit my therapy sessions per calendar year?  If so, how many sessions are allowed?

METHODS OF PAYMENT

  • We accept cash, check or debit/credit cards as well as HSA/FSA cards for payment due at the time of service.
